How long does borehole drilling take in Kenya?

From survey to commissioning, expect 4 to 10 weeks. Most of the time is spent on permits. Actual drilling rarely takes more than 5 days.

Do I need permits to drill a borehole?

Yes. Kenya’s Water Act 2016 requires WRA authorisation and a NEMA EIA licence before drilling. We handle the entire permit process for our clients.

How much does it cost to drill a borehole in Kenya?
